How long do I have to activate my AIS subscription?

I have a one year license or subscription to AIS but I don’t want to activate it now because of the problems with AIS, I’d rather wait till

they’re fixed.

I’m using the trial version of AIS 5.1.889.

As soon as the trial is up I’m going back to

avast! Free till AIS is fixed.

I think it (license) is ticking either from the moment of purchase or when you grab it from your email. Not when you insert it. Could be wrong, though.

What problems does AIS have that Avast! Free does not? I am not aware of any, just curious.

I believe it is from the time of purchase.

The only problem I experienced is with Antispam module.

Many have troubles with inserting the license.

Since I didn’t activate I don’t know if I will have trouble.

From reading in here it seems many have varied troubles.
