How to back-up my bookmarks in mozilla firefox browser version 3.0?

Hi Guys, i just wan to know how to back-up my bookmarks in mozilla firefox browser version 3.0 i’m planning to format my computer soon and i don’t to lose my bookmarks please help me…

thanks in advance

There is organise bookmarks, and export your existing bookmarks.

There is also the add-on, FEBE, this backs up a number of things apart from your bookmarks, add-ons, profile settings, etc. very handy.

So when you run FEBEs it will back-up all this stuff to a folder of your choice, save all this data. When you format your computer and when you get to installing firefox, install the FEBE add-on, have your saved data on a usb or saved to the HDD run it to restore your extensions, settings, bookmarks, etc.

ok thanks a lot for the reply

I just use Foxmarks extension to do the job. It stores all my bookmarks online and updates them whenever i make a change in my browser.
So whenever i reinstall Firefox i just install Foxmarks extension, login to my account and bam i have everything as it was. No need to worry if i’m gonna forget to backup bookmarks before restoring my disk image. Plus i can access bookmarks anywherer in the world if i have to.

You’re welcome, it certainly helped me when I bought and set-up my new system.

Much better than any other, including it’s not operation system dependent

Instead of FEBE (that is not reliable in all situations, preventing correct restoration), I suggest, MozBackup (http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/).
