In the windows explorer where you view files and directories how can I change the bloody white bright look background into a nice soft light gray in the W8 settings, as I haven’t found the setting as it completely bloody different from W7 Pro.
Well I have no idea if win8 has anything like previous incarnations of windows. Right clicking on an empty part of the desktop (Ha) and selecting Properties brought up the Display Properties window. The Appearance tab, Advanced allowed you to change the Window colour.
This took a few moments to do, but longer to capture the images ;D
All I can find speedy is here Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display\Screen Resolution then click on Advanced, the picture I posted is what you want I think but I wouldn’t no where to start in changing things ???
I’ve already check this Craigb it doesn’t do anything similar to DavidR idea from XP to W8 that feature suppose to be hiding somewhere in W8 and I’m not 100% sure it available in W8, otherwise MS is going to PI$$ ME OFF >:( and try and where bloody sun glasses while typing is not a great idea 8)
Last time I checked was in control panel in the display section and W7 had a similar feature to DavidR XP screenshot which you can change the whiting background to a nice tone colour that won’t burn your bloody eyes out.
That one doesn’t help at all Bob it won’t allow me to change it manually, and beside the features to give me all the options doesn’t change the settings
