How do I contact Avast Customer Services?
I have been a free member for some time but recently decided to upgrade at special price of £19.99 …only to find my next credit card statement shows two payments - one for £39.99 and one for £19.99. I want a refund so who do I contact? (Not easy to find on site!) I shall not be renewing after this episode- I shall be going else where. Bad news Avast!!!.

I’ve tried this route to get a refund of my auto-renewal but have not had a response. So I posted the problem on this forum instead.
Your other post that Eddy gave a link to indicates you did something different (Contact Us) rather than the support - Submit Ticket route. As moroni can find no record of you using the support ticket system.
I think it best to stick to the other topic where moroni (avast team) has responded.
I tried to download Avast Clean up software but half way through the download a popup told me " Cleanup set up cannot be downloaded, I tred again two times with the
same result. I could not ask for a refund because I didn’ have an ID number. How do I either get the ID number so that I can get a refund
This really would have been better in its own New topic rather than in one that is three and a half years old, much has changed and some of the links don’t work.

Use 00000000 as the ID code that should at least let you start completing the form. Now you can give other details of the order, as much as you can name, email used, payment method, etc. etc. to help them find it.
Don’t publish any personal, financial details, etc. in the public forum.
