How to delete/get rid of recently closed tabs ?

Hi
There is a new feature in Secure Browser with a dropdown arrow which shows the most recently closed tabs. Is it possibly to get rid of/disable this new feature?

Thanks

Hello,

this is a feature of a new browser design and it cannot be disabled via browser settings. There might be some ways to disable it via chrome://flags (“chrome-refresh-2023-ntb”) but that does not work for me. Even if that works, this flag could be removed in future. Because our browser is based on Chromium project, we get changes like this automatically and we usually keep them if we like them.

Sorry that I could not help you. From my point of view, it would be better to get used to it. I think it’s nice feature, especially if you want to go back to one of the closed tabs…

Anyway, I will mention this feedback to our product team.

Thank you ondrejz for your reply

I am pleased to see that this will be passed to the product team.

It would seem important that this feature can be turned off by the user. We use a shared computer in our household, this means that if somebody in the household searches online for birthday gifts/other gifts, then the next person to use the computer can simply click on the last closed tabs and go straight to the page with the gift item on it. This seems to defeat the object of “private” usage if there is no way to delete the previous tabs or disable the feature altogether.

It is surprising that nobody else has raised this issue.

Thanks

Doesn’t Ctrl+Shift+Delete work for you?
