Hi!

How to permanently delete the registry key,

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\AVAST Software

System: Windows 7 Ultimate

I’ve tried the Avast Uninstaller: doesn’t delete this key.

Any help is much appreciated!

As far as I’m aware that Registry Key is under the control of the OS

Thanks for pointing that tool out Asyn :slight_smile: I’ve always had to take ownership to remove that reg key but the tool will make it easier 8)
