How to delete log files

Hello,
WinDirStat shows, that my Avast Internet security has written 20 GB of log files to the directory:
C:/Users/Hermann/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/Temporary Internet Files/Virtualized/C/Programm Data/AVAST Software/Avast/log
How can I delete them?
If I try to navigate to this directory with Windows explorer, I can only go to “Temporary Internet Files”. I don’t see “Virtualized” and following.
Is there a way inside of the Avast software to delete these files?
Thanks,
Hermann

Make sure you have “show hidden/system files and folders” enabled.
Also make sure you have the correct rights to access that folder.
Select the files and delete them.

Or much easier perhaps, let Windows cleanup things.

Thanks

In most cases, you’ll need to disable Auto Protection module in the Troubleshooting tab of settings.
Don’t forget to turn it on later…
