How to get money back from 30 day money back guarantee?

I ordered avast premier & avast cleanup , and after calling customer support and trying to troubleshoot, how do I proceed about getting refunded?

  1. For technical issues (installation and uninstallation, questions about the apps, etc.) use our forum, where other users can give you further help.
  2. For sales and related matters, licenses renew, refunds, open a ticket: https://support.avast.com. Please, understand that the forum users can’t address these issues.

Good Luck…I submitted a ticket 5 & 6 Oct for a refund. When I called digital river who sold the software & collected the fee they said I had to call Avast. Called Avast who said I had to contact billing, who couldn’t find the ticket #'s even though I have a confirmation email and told me I had to call tech support who couldn’t find the ticket # and said they really don’t handle refunds. They provided a link to check on ticket status however that link is to submit another ticket which everyone says if you do submit another ticket it starts the entire refund process all over again. There has to be a better way for Avast to track and make this whole refund process smoother.
Its almost as if they make it difficult to cancel & refund the customer.

Can anyone help me with a refund request? I bought an Avast Cleanup 3yr license but I’m quite dissatisfied with it. Posted a ticket 4 days back, and no reply or update yet.

Be patient, it can take up to 7 business days.

It’s been 11 days now and still nothing. At this rate, I’m just worried they’ll look into my request after 30 days have passed and tell me there’s nothing they can do about it. Could someone please help out?
