How to get the Avast Password Extension Back

Ok since Yesterday (1/5) the Avast Password Extension was removed from some browsers including the Secure Browser. I figured out how to get it back.

  1. Open Avast Anti-Virus

  2. Click on the Privacy Icon

  3. Select Passwords

  4. Open it’s Settings menu

5 Select Browser Integration

  1. Choose the Browser(s) you need reinstalled.

  2. It will open up a browser session in the one selected to the extension location, then just click install.

Interesting once installed back on the Anti virus app it will indicate all the browsers are installed, except for Secure Browser

For me it didn’t help, I tried several times, but it doesn’t appear at the end. Probably that’s the problem on my side and not the recommendations.

Which browser? The icon doesn’t appear or something else.

I use Brave browser, for a check I downloaded Google Chrome and everything works fine. In Brave, there is no icon.
