i know some methods under winXP–modify the webshield.ini can protect more browsers.
however,what can i do under windows7 ,in china,many kinds of browsers,many are based on the core of trident(ie),some have two cores like sougou explore ,maxthon3 and so on.many of my friends want to protect it but failed under windows7 ,so i want a official method to solve this problems,such as modify the webshield.ini or other ways .

Just changed the webshield.ini with no problems on my Win7. Is UAC enabled on your system? Try to launch your text editor with administrative privileges and modify your webshield.ini in such a way.

Move OptinProcess=SogouExplorer.exe under [WebScanner].
no, it can scan chrome,opera and so on ,but it can’t protect the explore that i add in the ‘webshield.ini’

Did you restart your web shield?
i never stop the webshield.stopping the webshield is necessary? i shut the self-protect down ,but keeping the webshield on.
webshield can’t protect sogou explore as before,i think i have to give up.
