How to remove Ad Aware Antivirus? [RESOLVED]

Hi guys, I’m back again, hope you don’t mind.

This evening (July 16) I downloaded Ad Aware Antivirus (Free Edition) from Lavasoft, to give it a try.
After installation I was unable to get the activation key. (I still didn’t get)
I found myself unable to start a scan.
Suddenly after restarting my pc several times I started a scan. (nothing found)
Oh well, I decided to uninstall, but for some reason I’m unable to uninstall. (via config screen from microsoft)
I too have Avast Free installed on pc, great program!
How to get rid of Ad Aware Antivirus from Lavasoft?

Help, tips, advice is welcome, thanks in advance!

I dont know of any Ad Aware removal tool so the only thing i could advise is to try removing it in safemode, you should never install two AV’s on the same system so hopefully you haven’t messed up avast, i would also perform a repair of avast after getting rid of Ad Aware.

Hi again. Just restarted pc in safe mode, unfortunately I was unable to remove Lavasoft Ad Aware Antivirus Free Version.
After a new reatart of pc I suddenly was able to remove the program via microsoft config.
I was a Lavasoft fan for many years, I’m no longer Lavasoft fan any more.
Do you?

Thanks Bob, I know how to uninstall a program, but this time with Lavasoft aboard I was unable doing.
Oh well, in the end I succeeded, maybe having 2 antivirus programs is too much.
I know simply rely on Avast!
