i have deleted the app, it still gives me popups and it wont let me uninstall it no matter what i do, is it hidden in a folder on my pc or something cause i cannot find out how or why it does this
What do you mean by delete ?
Simply trying to manually delete Avast’s folders won’t work as it has a self-defence function that will prevent this.
Or did you use the Windows Add/Remove programs in windows to uninstall Avast ?

Download the avast! Uninstall Utility, avastclear.exe Avast Removal Tool | Download Avast Clear | Avast and save it to your HDD. Make a note of the steps required or print the page.
