I have used Avast paid Antivirus, but I was not happy and made a clean Windows installation without Avast software.
I had used Avast Email Protection and now I have some folders in my Outlook and Gmail named Avast and AVAST SAFE status - I cannot insert screenshots.
Can you please tell me how to remove the Avast protection without installing the Avast Software, I’m using another anti-virus software.
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
You can’t post links to images - but if you have the image saved on your system, you can use Windows Explorer or other file handling software to Drag and Drop your image into your post. That way it is on the forum web space and everyone doesn’t have to import from an unknown 3rd party site.
How did you remove Avast ?
Unfortunately you have to install Avast Antivirus to remove Email Protection (former Email Guardian) from your mailbox. Or, ask official support.
How can I remove Email Guard from my email if I don’t have Avast Premium Security installed?
Because the online version of Email Guard is linked to your Avast Account, it will continue to protect your online email accounts even if you uninstall Avast Premium Security.
