My android phone has been infected with a virus. how can this virus be removed?
Does Avast Mobile Security indicate what the “virus” is?

Try booting your phone into safe mode and uninstall any weird or recently installed apps. Then run a scan with something like Malwarebytes or Avast Mobile Security. If that doesn’t fix it, backup your stuff and do a factory reset, that usually wipes out any virus completely.
