How to stop the annoying driver update messages appearing after Avast security software does a scan?
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member and I have no personal experience with Avast Premium or the Driver Update function.
There isn’t much information to work with, e.g. when this occurs and what is displayed.
I guess you are running the Smart scan ?
The smart scan its a bit dumb as it isn’t checking what other components you have installed.
But you should be able to stop it running in the Avast Settings > Protection > Smart Scan > switch to Run Manually.
Also Avast Settings > General > Notifications > Pop-up treatment > set to Limited Mode.
