How to tell who Avast Business is controlled by?

I have a former co-worker who ended up with Avast Business installed on his home PC. It sure looks like the Avast Business (CloudCare hosted) I’m familiar with. It’s NOT hosted by me any longer (I long ago removed the device, which should have triggered an uninstall).

It seems it’s still being controlled by someone. I suspect our former employer signed up for Avast (CloudCare) after I left. My co-worker is no longer employed there either.

Is there a way to tell on the client-side where the license belongs? We would like to know before he tries to uninstall, so we know who might have had access to everything that is/was availabe.

It is possible that it is not controlled by anyone. :grimacing: I have seen devices get removed from CloudCare, but the devices ended up having Avast Business still installed. Somewhere along the line, the communication between the CloudCare servers and the Endpoint got disconnected so that the Endpoint did not do a complete uninstall. Aside from that, I am not sure how to tell where the Endpoint is getting a license from. Unfortunately, you may need to open a ticket or start a chat from the CloudCare portal. You will probably need the name of the Endpoint.
