In log viewer I have a warning message. Can someone please tell me the file I need to click on to read it using notepad?

Log files are in:
C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\data\log
You should be able to read all that is in the warning using the avast! Log Viewer, there is no extra file that is linked to a particular warning in the log viewer. The file warning.log (I think that is the name, not sure as I have cleared my warning log) contains the complete listing/content of all warnings, that could feasibly be opened using notepad, but you would gain no additional details that aren’t shown in the log viewer.
What is it that you are looking or searching for?
If you can see the complete description, etc expand the column to see it all.

Cant expand the column in log viewer for some reason David, but I’ve managed to read it now Eddy has pointed me in the right direction.
If you hover the mouse pointer at the right of the column title you should see the pointer change to two arrows pointing left and right and two bars in the middle (similar <-||->), drag that to the right or double click the left mouse button and it will open the column to the maximum width text in the column.
