Years ago, I used the Blackviper info to disable unneeded or unwanted services with good results. I do not remember all of them at the moment but for sure Windows Messenger was disabled and then removed.
With extreme care, for the majority this is totally unnecessary.
But I have used blackviper in the past also.
Yes, bv is great, I have used it on this computer.
I have played with them manually for a while now, it seems as though you can sqeeze a little more out of a PC by doing it… I think you gain better performace by stopping various things from starting at boot ;D
