how

hi,
I’ve gotten great assistance here in past and i was wondering how to determine when files should run at start up. i was searching on Google, hoping the answer would pop out. i’m on my parents slow computer

here is the free fixer log

i recall hearing negative comments about bonjour and java but thought i also heard they had alternatives and were necessary

if anyone could look at the log thanks

I see an old vulnerable Java installed:

HKLM\..\Run, SunJavaUpdateSched = C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin\jusched.exe
Go to Add/Remove Programs and un-install all Java applications.

Recommended Version 6 Update 17:

i just went to add remove programs and uninstalled the two instances of java, as well as a symantec item…haven’t had norton in years…and didn’t ntic that item earlier

then i went to that link you supplied and installed the top link… i wonder if it is going to continuely install add-ons…anyhow i’ll have to check later if the other computer has that java… and i gotta figure out what safari is and bojour

merry christmas
