HTC One S (PREMIUM AntiTheft) - record audio 1 min wav = huge 720KB file size

Hello,

since few days ago on one of my phones (HTC One S Android 4.0.3) with latest version of Avast Antivirus and AntiTheft PREMIUM (3.0.6426) started to record audio 1 minute lenght with 720KB file size (this is ruin my mobile data plan). It was 130KB before. What happened?! *
I uninstalled AntiTheft (Update Agent), clean cache, reinstalled, but it’s the same problem. Too big wav file for 1 minute recording… I want small (130KB) back, normal file size like it was before.

I attached an example here with the big file.

I found the problem. It’s on your side.
The new version of Update Agent (3.0.6426) record wmv audio with these properties: aac, 48000 Hz, 2 Channels, 96 kb/s (1 minute = 700KB)
Older version like Update Agent (3.0.6158) record wmv audio with these properties: amrnb, 8000 Hz, 1 Channels, 12 kb/s (1 minute = 100KB)
So I remain for the moment to 3.0.6158
I suggest you to make an option to choose audio properties for audio recording on next updates.
