HTML:RedireME-inf [Tri] message on Safari exit

iMac, 10.10 os, all software is up to date.

I’ve turned off all plugins and removed all extensions. I still get this error. From what I can find the file containing the ‘malware’ is a normal process of Safari. I’ve tried blocking the file scan of the directory /Users/Mac/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari but when I attempt to navigate to that directory the Library directory does not show to be selected. I’ve installed a hide/show software switch to make visible those files and directories that are normally hidden. Still can’t see it.

So, either the anti-virus is mistaken and needs to be fixed or Safari is broken and needs to be fixed or there is something else running that I can’t find that is causing this issue. So, which is it?

This doesn’t seem to be critical BUT, it is like a small splinter you can’t see but can feel when it catches on something, yep, that kind of annoying.

Before you tell me to remove / disable plugins and extensions, read the message, I did that.

have you tried to clear safari cache? https://guides.instructure.com/m/4214/l/334964-how-do-i-clear-my-browser-cache-on-a-mac
