HTML:RedirME-inf[Trj] on Mac OS X

Hey there!
I recently and repeatedly got the following warning:
Infection: HTML:RedirMe-inf [Trj]
URL: http://video2mp3.net/
File: {gzip}
Process: /System/Library/STagedFrameworks/Safari/WebKit.framework/Versions/A/XPCServices/com.apple.WebKit.Networking.xpc/Contents/MacOS/com.apple.WEbKit.Networking

What do I do with this now? Didn’t find any useful tips on how to remove that anywhere so far, I am glad for any help I can get.

Thanks

It means that the URL > video2mp3.net contain a redirect (HTML:RedirMe-inf) to a malicious/blacklisted URL

probably this advertisements URL > clkrev.com/adServe/banners?tid=V2MFOOTER&type=footer&size=728x90

IP history > https://virustotal.com/nb/ip-address/173.192.117.106/information/

Okay, thanks! But this warning keeps on popping up (even if I don’t access the website anymore). How do I make that stop?

I know nada about Mac, but it seems to be in your safari browser

/System/Library/STagedFrameworks/Safari/WebKit.framework/Versions/A/XPCServices/com.apple.WebKit.Networking.xpc/Contents/MacOS/com.apple.WEbKit.Networking

You may try clear all safari browser cache/history

If still a problem post / ask in avast for Mac forum section >> https://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=5.0

Alright, thanks a lot! I did that, lets see how that turns out now!
