Just leave the file for at least a week & if nothing bad happens to your PC then, delete it.
tnx for the reply… need more helpful info…
By the way, what was the name of the infected file & the location it was found?
Filename: Timbaland-ft-one-republic-apologize[1].html
location: C:\Documents and Settings\All users\Temporary Internet files\Temporary Internet files\Content.IES\RPDJU…
Virus INFO: HTML:Script-inf
Filename: ashChest.exe.hdmp
location: C:\ DOCUME~

I dont know what to do :(…I know the websites I visited was secure because we have Mcafe site advisor which detects sites that do have viruses or malwares… ???
No offense but McAfee site advisor is pretty unreliable as of now that it couldn’t identify the bad ones very well. To help ease some of the problems, lets try cleaning our temporary files first. Just type cleanmgr.exe via Run on start menu or in Vista, Winkey+R. Tick Temporary files and Temporary Internet Files. Then proceed on the deletion. If you want to detect more possible viruses, try a boot time scan and Malwarebytes Antimalware.
I would say, try Finjan.

+1 I could not get it to work on Windows 7 though
Browser Defender™ Website Safety Lookup works on Windows 7:

Which is better? WOT, finjan orbrowser defender?
I’d go for Finjan and Browser Defender since WOT is very relative to user comments.
hmmm… use both?
Nope, choose one.
hmmm… since I don’t know any of the 2, which do u recommend?
Yep i sue both right now^^
Very effective^^
Much much better with NoScript by the way^^

It crashed my Firefox, but I guess its a different case on you. So we may recommend using both.
Tried finjan… seems like it doesn’t work on linux…
N i’m using Noscript right now…
Now can I delete the infected file on my virus chest ?
Let them stay in the Virus Chest for a longer while. Observe what will happen for at least 3 days. If nothing bad happens [mysterious errors, unexpected crash or BSODs] you may delete the file from chest.
