It just decided to pop up tonight while I was on Chrome. I’ve been reading the topics pertaining to this issue but I’m not exactly sure about what to do as steps before you all would need to help. Do I download addition programs and run those and then come back for help with anything? Or do I give you all information and we go from there?
Attach your basic logs. (MBAM, FRST and aswMBR…!!)
Instructions: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0
Here are the logs.
OK, now you’ve to wait a bit…
Okay! Thanks for the help so far.
You’re welcome. Please be patient, it might take a while.
I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more assistance then.
Does this occur in IE as well, also does it appear on sites with a video ad
CAUTION : This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer

I don’t use Internet Explorer. Chrome is my default browser.
Could you try it in IE please
What am I trying exactly? So I know what to look for.
Could you go to the same sites in IE to see if the alert appears
Nothing has happened thus far.
This popped up about 10 minutes ago. Should I do something about these?
Those are orphans and you can delete them. It was confirmed as a false positive
In that case methinks I will send you on your merry way
Subject to no further problems
I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems
Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean
A good workman always cleans up after himself so…The following will implement some cleanup procedures as well as reset System Restore points:
Download and run Delfix

: Keep Java Updated :
WARNING: Java is the #1 exploited program at this time. The Department of Homeland Security recommends that computer users disable Java
See this article
I would recommend that you completely uninstall Java unless you need it to run an important software.
In that instance I would recommend that you disable Java in your browsers until you need it for that software and then enable it. (See How to diasble Java in your web browser and How to unplug Java from the browser)
Now that you are clean, to help protect your computer in the future I recommend that you get the following free programmes:
CryptoPrevent install this programme to lock down and prevent crypto ransome ware

Update and run weekly to keep your system clean
It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system and to keep them updated.
To learn more about how to protect yourself while on the internet read this little guide Best security practices Keep safe
When you say delete, do you mean Ignore it or Quarantine it?
Quarantine
I did that.
I tried to disable Java but apparently it’s needed for Tumblr and when I tried to just say that site was an exception, it flashed the notification that it was needed.
I am unable to download CryptoPrevent due to maintenance on the site.
OK just ensure that you have no old versions of Java just the latest
