hxxp://debrovorda.com/aa/ help

Like other people I’m having issues with webshield reporting this also:

Object: hxxp://debrovorda.com/aa/
Infection: URL:Mal
Process: C:\Windows\SysWow64\svchost.exe

Object: hxxp://rumolottra.com/aa/
Infection: URL:Mal
Process: C:\Windows\SysWow64\svchost.exe

Thus far I’ve tried to deal with this via Malwarebytes, but I’m still getting the webshield reports.

Okay here is the FRST.exe logs

I really don’t like double posting but the attachments seem to disappear when I modify a post so I wasn’t going to risk losing the FRST text file.

Let me know if this stops the alerts

Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe
Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that

THEN

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your desktop.

[*]Close all open programs and internet browsers.
[*]Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
[*]Click on Scan.
[*]After the scan is complete click on “Clean”
[*]Confirm each time with Ok.
[*]Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
[*]Please post the content of that logfile with your next answer.
[*]You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S1].txt as well.

Here is the fixlog, trying to download the ADWCleaner atm.

I wasn’t able to download that software by Xplode, furthermore I just got through having to do a system restore cause windows wouldn’t start, and now Avast’s Firewall isn’t working…

While I’m currently not seeing the alerts, as annoying as they were, I was having fewer problems beforehand.

At what stage did windows fail to start ?

For Avast run a repair to cure that

Just before my gaming instant chat xfire started to load, towards the very end of startup (explorer stopped responding then taskmanager stopped responding when I tried to restart explorer). It also gave me difficulties going into safe mode, so I finally manually caused it to fail to start further back so I could restore from an earlier point.

I can’t find the repair option for Avast, it’s been a long while since I’ve actually had to repair Avast.

UPDATE:

I was able to get the firewall to work after disabling another program that was acting as a firewall, so I didn’t have to repair AVAST.

My computer’s startup is slower, it could be due to Malwarebytes and other programs though.

OK as you have restored, please run AdwCleaner and then run a fresh FRST scan

Okay AdwCleaner log, and I will say that the computer booted a lot faster.

FRST and Addition logs are also included

Let me know how it is after this

Okay how long exactly is this supposed to take on a run-through, cause it’s been running for quite a while?

About 26 minutes and counting, I do have a fixlog file and haven’t exitted out of FRST.

You can close FRST as it has hung on emptying the temp files

Reboot and let me know how the system is behaving

It’s up and running, it froze for a second when I tried to get on the forums, but seems to be running fine now.

Use the computer as normal for a while and if all is well let me know and I will tidy up

It seems a little more sluggish and internet explorer is crashing off and on, could that be due to malwarebytes?

It might be worth temporarily uninstalling malwarebytes and see if that has an effect

I think that’s the best I’m going to get out of the computer for the moment, I think the virus is gone.

Subject to no further problems

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems

Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean
