I can Download and install eagleget

to day I try to download using egalegat however Avast blocked egaleget, I remove it and try to install it again but Avast keep preventing me form installing it

Test it on virustotal first. If none (except one or two antiviruses) think it’s malicious, it’s usually a safe bet it’s false alarm.

Then, go into Avast’s Settings > Protection > Core Shields
and find and disable Anti-Rootkit Shield and also disable the Hardened Mode there too.

Also, try to add it to exceptions. You can try to preemptively add a specific folder in exceptions (anti-rootkit still should be disabled as it ignores exceptions), then download the program’s installer into it. Then add the folder you’re going to install it into to exceptions. Install your program. Then add the specific root directly of the installed program into Avast’s exceptions and after that remove that initial foder from exceptions (since that one is probably “Program Files” and it shouldn’t be left in exceptions).

What do you mean by blocked ?

If you mean avast is alerting on it (or a warning), please post a screenshot with the See details section open.

If on checking Virus Total, post the results link here. If it isn’t a large number of detections you can report it:
Reporting a Possible False Positive File or Website - https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php.
You should get a response in a day or two.

I did tell that person to first check on virustotal to see if it’s false alarm or not. That’s normally enough.
