I cannot Stop Billing!

Avast, why do you keep billing me? I have not used that computer for 5 years? You just billed me again for $85 USD. I try calling you and I go on hold for over an hour. The last time, I held for 1:15 Minutes. An hour and a quarter. 2 Days before, I held for an hour.

What’s sad is that I had no money in my account and it kept hitting my bank.

This happened last year and I thought we fixed this… I would like to know if you kept the payment for last year also, for software I havent used in 5 years…

What is going on? I need my account closed, and I would like that bill to disappear!

If you need to send me to billing, that didnt work. No one seems to be there. So now I have to come here.

This happens if you have not removed your credit card from your account. So, first, you should remove your credit card info if you have not done so yet. Follow these steps to do that.

  • Sign in to your Avast account using a web browser.

  • Click on your profile icon and then go to Manage Subscriptions.

  • Then, go to the My Subscription tile and open it.

  • Next, check that you have canceled all the subscriptions, and then go to the cards option.

  • From there, select the option to remove the cards.

Also, you need to remove the Avast program from your device completely. Besides that, if the problem does not go away even after that, then look for help of further help.
