hi,

ı can’t install avast bussines edition on windows server r2 foundation x64. I have active directory. ı have error message
" sql server 2008 express r2 x64 mandatory prerequisite was not correctly insatalled"

please help me…

the screenshot is not really acronis… its avast, as stated in the left top corner of this page :slight_smile:

looks like you have chosen to install the default for the console but you have not installed SQL express.
Something probably went wrong in the prerequisite installer (cancelled or no internet?) hence this notification.

Its mandatory that you have SQL installed, either express or a standalone server

Can I install avast on Windows 2008 R2. (include acitive directory) how do I set up.please step by step showm me. if I am not solve the problem. avast will be returned to the customer.:frowning:

if you mean if you can install the CONSOLE (SBC) then this should be possible too except you do need the dependencies.
Which i am not to sure about if SQLexpress can be installed on a domain controller (which i assume you mean with 2008R2 with AD).

if you have a test machine you could try installation there to see if the sql will get installed propperly
