i dont know what to do next

the win32 trojan-gen {VC} virus has infected wupdater.exe
sui.exe
delupdat.exe

all three of these are located in c:/program files/common files/ updater

i put them in my virus chest and i dont know what im supposed to do now or if i am supposed to even do anything. i have been researching all night to find out what i should do…it seems that these files are part of the adware KeenValue, so i was wondering if these files are even important and maybe i could just delete them without hurting anything on my computer. thanks for any help you can provide

If you are sure they are part of an un needed/unwanted program. It would be fine to delete them. Though they are safe in your chest if you decide to leave them.

I personally would delete them into oblivion. If you have XP you can create a restore point and if deleting hurts hurts your system then you can restore it.

I really doubt that deleting them will cause any problems. I say go for it.

haha well it did mess up some things when i deleted it…i had to reintsall some things on aol and my kazaa lite doesnt connect…thats all the problems i have found so far, so if i cant fix it then i guess i’ll just do a system restore and hopefully everything will be okay

yeah i did the restore and everything seems to be fine…my kazaa lite still doesnt connect but i’ll find a way to fix that

This is kind of off the topic but i think kazaa has gone down hill alot. It is a virus minefield.

yeah i know. i have actually been getting alot of viruses lately, not from kazaa but its really annoying, i guess i need a firewall or something
