I got this file by lending an external drive to someone

I’ve been finding a seris of viruses in the past year by running avast. In june I was lucky enough to discover that people on a forum know when and where I’d be taking a class for a minor traffic infraction, my password, and they were kind enough to beat me to the class. She said she’d be wearing no bra or panties, and I could see her nipples.

being the oldest file I have had flagged by avast, and in one of the folders a friend backed up on that drive, I have to wonder if these two events were coincidences or correlated.

what exactly does this file do?

once my computer fritzed out I tried to upgrade to mcafee, when i did i was redirected to an external page that didn’t look legit, and my ip address has supposedly been accessed (according to an email I recieved).

after being denied access to download the file or use the internet, I went to walmart and picked up a copy of avg which found 117 infected files.

I’m curious to say the least, any help is appreciated.

seems to be clean.

if you suspect infection…follow this guide and attach the logs…not copy and paste

AdwCleaner
Malwarebytes
OTL
aswMBR

when done, malware experts will be notified and check your logs. it may take hours before one arrive so be patient

do you have more then one antivirus installed? this will slow down your computer, give mysterious windows errors and false positive detections

what did AVG find?..tracking cookies?

unistall all But one antivirus, the run the vendors removal tool to clear any leftover files that may conflict
you find the tools here. http://singularlabs.com/uninstallers/security-software/

I scanned wit avg after booting into safe mode, and yes I uninstalled the other programs, it found a couple tracking cookies, and two were trojans.

when anitvirus software finds that stuff it sends it off to the company right? I tried to go back and manually pluck out the files but they were gone when I got to the folder, however avg was set to clean automatically

I don’t know how often you get this kind of thing, and ya I have avg installed instead right now. But I’m working on my first novel right now and need the contents to be secure.

It is based on a true story of the sexual harassment I had to endure at the hands of a crazy bitch, she has been sending me oodles of emails and remaining in “forceful” contact over a forum, at one point she posted about a class I had to go to for a traffic violation and showed up to it, as well Todd and Tyler from their radio empire have laughed about it and stated the password to my computer twice in a row after I’d changed it.

Whether this is a “false positive” or if someone has been in my computer I’d like to find out…
