Hi - I would appreciate your help. I have a new imac(Apple M4 Sequoia 15.6) and was installing the free version of Avast for mac. When the installation was almost finished, this Avast Security window popped up with chinese characters in it. This seems very suspicious. I did not click on the window. I ran the avast scan, basic and deep scan and it did not flag anything. There is no other software installed on the imac, only the factory installed software. The language I selected during the imac initialization was english.
Is this malware or a virus from Avast ? If so, how does it get removed ? Thanks.
