I got win32:trojan gen {other} virus, and im using an AVG I keep on choosing “repair” button, but the virus cannot be repaired. pls help me to vanish the said virus!
Trojans are not repairable, (unlike viruses. Or some viruses, anyway.) Viruses infect your existing files, and perform a range of actions, including deletion etc.
Trojans are nasty little applications unto themselves.
Instead of selecting “repair”, you should be selecting “quarantine” or “send to chest” (not repair, and preferably not delete.)
Now to the real question.
Why is an AVG user posting in an Avast forum? ???
I don’t mind at all, I mean, I’ve found the Avast forum extremely helpful.

thank you for that advice, well i already move it to chest, but AVG keeps on posting the warnning window everytime i start on my Laptop. how can i vanish the virus?pls help me.
Ok, first off, welcome to the forum. Even if you are an AVG user.
It sounds like either a false positive, that windows recreates as a valid file every reboot (possible) or the real trojan (more likely, IMO.)
Now I’m no expert. but what I’d do is download http://www.superantispyware.com/, update it, and run a full scan. Quarantine anything found.
Let us know what happens.
(Later, you might want to consider using Avast. 
The filename and file path would also help.
