Hi would it bee possible to remove Win32:Trojan-gen {Other} and Win32:TratBHO [trj] easily.
Yes it is but first I will need to see the culprits
Download & Run HijackThis.exe
[*]Download HJTInstall.exe to your Desktop.
[*]Doubleclick HJTInstall.exe to install it.
[*]By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
[*]Click on Install.
[*]It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
[*]Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
[*]Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
[*]Copy/Paste the log to your next reply please.
Don’t use the Analyse This button, its findings are dangerous if misinterpreted.
Don’t have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
I suggest:
- Disable System Restore and reenable it after step 3.
- Clean your temporary files.
- Schedule a boot time scanning with avast with archive scanning turned on.
- Use SUPERantispyware and/or Spyware Terminator to scan for spywares and trojans. If any infection is detected, better and safer is send the file to Quarantine than to simple delete than.
- Test your machine with anti-rootkit applications. I suggest avast! antirootkit or Trend Micro RootkitBuster.
- Follow essexboy’s suggestions to post a HijackThis log or submit the RunScanner log to to on-line analysis.
- Immunize your system with SpywareBlaster or Windows Advanced Care.
- Check if you have insecure applications with Secunia Software Inspector.
avast didnt find anything but this keeps poping up at random 1.5.2008 15:29:49 1209644989 SYSTEM 1848 Sign of “Win32:TratBHO [trj]” has been found in “C:\Users\cat fish\AppData\Local\Temp\mlJCUMeF.dll” file.

I’ll help you in your thread. You can find it here, It’s call jeffb’s vundo
I went there so now what do i do? Thank you for your help. Like i said i have no idea what i am doing>LOL
Just wait a little and oldman will start to help you in it.
Since you didn’t start that topic you won’t normally get email notifications when a post has been made in that topic. So click the link oldman gave you and it will open the topic, at the bottom of the topic are some buttons, click the Notify button. Now you will get an email when anyone posts in that topic.
Left click on the attached image to enlarge it.
Cheers oldman it looks like the same miscreant
