your yahoo log in has nothing to do with avast…
i recomend Bing toolbar for IE. (i usually hate toolbars, but this i use)
not sure if there is similar stuff for FF
then you can enter your mail accounts in it…
it wil notify you when there are new mail… and it is a one click to log in

Maybe I wasn’t clear. Before I started using avast I didn’t have to provide username and password for yahoo every time I opened firefox, now I do. This is definitely nothing to do with any setting on avast…?
there are no settings for this in avast …
It shd be a cookies setting, no? But I can't seem to find it...there are no cookie settings in avast...
Aguero.
I run FF 23 and I use Yahoo and I do not have to enter my User and password everytime I have to login.
Are you running CCleaner or a program that might be set to remove passwords when logging out or rebooting the computer ?
In FF Options > Privacy tab. Do you have " Remove browser history when closing FF " ?
tx, yes I think ccleaner is the issue. Great
NP. De nada.
Also check FF option just in case. Pondus’ idea.
if this is cookie related … there is a cookie smart scan setting in CCleaner
you can also untic cleaning for browsers in CCleaner, so you may want to tweak those settings
