Okay, I have paid for avast security. (34,99 €) So how do I proceed from this? How do I activate my paid version?

WHen should I get e-mail that I have paid avast. I paid it this morning and still waiting for e-mail
Generally it should happen almost immediately, if your ISP, email server or you use an anti-spam, check the coresponding spam folder.
You could try the Resend avast License http://www.avast.com/resend-license-paid.php, you will need to enter the email that you used when purchasing the license, e.g. the one that the original email with the link was sent.
I tried resend but I got this message
Dear customer,
we are sorry, but our records show no valid purchases with the e-mail address you specified.
Please make sure the information you supplied is correct, and the original purchase was carried out using this email address.
If you purchased your license from an avast! reseller please contact the reseller directly (http://www.avast.com/locate-dealer).

Whilst this is a pain for you you have up to 30 days unrestricted use to get this resolved.
Did you check that an anti-spam isn’t involved, though not finding a record when you used the resend license, would probably rule out any anti-spam involvement.
Did you purchase via an avast reseller as asked or directly via the avast.com site ?
I think this is on-line payment is still handled by Digital River Element 5 (but I’m not sure) - you could also try contacting them.

I bought avast directly via avast.com site (I am from Finland)

Please allow 5 business days for the processing of your order from the
date you sent your payment.
so I guess I am going to just wait.
OK, thanks for the feedback about that as I hadn’t heard of this before. But it would make sense if that were the case when you use the resend license link there may not yet be a record of the transaction.
As mentioned you have 30 days unrestricted use until you have to enter your license, that should allow time to resolve this.
