So, I don’t know close to everything. But there is no reason I can think of that would make Avast not load my firewall at start up (explanation point-your not protected) every other time Avast loads. Don’t add please “Do a clean install” comments. Happens since I installed months ago. I also have freezing issues time to time for no reason. Mem checks all show no issue. Latest version of course AVIS. I need some workable info to fix this, such as, “if it does this, then this” because uninstall reinstall does nada

Yes homie. I would not have went to a third party removal tool if there was a simple repair option. Maybe Avast can not handle the responsibility of having a firewall that MUST work. I don’t use VPNs because of this. If it only works when it wants to, then it doesn’t work
Uninstall avast firewall and turn on windows firewall, it usually work with no problems

I would have suggested to try a reinstall but you specifically said you did not want that … so
