I am looking for a Key Logger that will work undetected with Avast Home Edition.
I have purchased 2 keyloggers and Avast alert screen and alarm popped up.
All of them cause Avast to alert the user.
I want to know what is happening on my computer when I am not here.
I want Avast to ignore it. Has anyone had success with keyloggers and Avast?
You need to use the Exclusion lists:
For the Standard Shield provider (on-access scanning):
Left click the ‘a’ blue icon, click on the provider icon at left and then Customize.
Go to Advanced tab and click on Add button…
For the other providers (on-demand scanning such as the screen-saver or the Simple User Interface):
Right click the ‘a’ blue icon, click Program Settings.
Go to Exclusions tab and click on Add button…
You can use wildcards like * and ?.
But be careful, you should ‘exclude’ that many files that let your system in danger.
You can choose anyone you like and add its executable file to the avast exclusions (if it happens to get detected).
Why is it that you want to install a keylogger ?
If for parental control there are other options that are proactive rather than reactive, e.g. you having to read the logs to see what is being done.
