I just downloaded Adobe Acrobat 9.0 from utorrent, but when I tried tu setup the program, a Win32:trojan-gen appeared.
I don’t think the program is infected and it’s the second time it happens to me…I decided to click in “no actions” when the warning message appeared in my screen, but anything happened.
I don’t know if the file is infected actually or maybe is a problem of Avast.
hey…rebe…cracked…pirated software are bad both for ethical health and pc’s wellbeing but incase you still want’t to delve into this quagmire do a few things…
utorrent in p2p shield of avast is unchecked by default so customise p2p sheild by ticking utorrent. This would save downloading large infected files as avast will warn you as and when you download and not after you finish and try to execute.
2.get free virtualization programmes like sandboxie…returnil and execute these torrent files in them first
3.get free mbam or sas for a second opinon when aprehensions of something being wrong lurk in your mind.
but try avoiding risky downloads…
