bascialy i downlaod avast and jsut use it as normal and i wasj sut explorign the setting and it had like a add a password to open app so i set a passwordo n it and i dont rember it anymore and im tryna delte the app any cna u help me i cant delte the app without the password and it rlly annoying me if someone can and u see a acc has me been madded with if owner of avast see this take down archielongy@gmail.com acc take the acc down like permanlty delte it fully or if possible email me at that email and tell me the password to it if u know
First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.
I’m having difficulty deciphering the post.
However, the upshot is if you set a password protect against improper changes. So when you try to enter the User Interface it asks for the password. If you forget it you are effectively locked out.
Is this the issue you are experiencing ?
There is no easy way to resolve as the Avast Self Defence will prevent this. It requires a clean reinstall from windows Safe mode (where Avast isn’t running) using a program Avast Clear and then a reboot and reinstall of your Avast Program.
