Right-click the avast system tray icon and select “Start On-Access Protection”

Hi

Depends on if you paused it or stopped it.

If you paused the provider, right click the “a” icon, highlight resume provider and click on the provider.

If you stopped the provider. left click on the “a” icon. Locate the provider in the left panel, click on it then click the start button.
