I want my money back

I can’t believe how I was so easily ripped off by your company,

i just upgraded from the free version of avast to internet security upgrade for £29,99, UK

the how to download instructions are the worst I’ve ever seen, so much so that i was unable to make any sense on how to do so, that I’ve given up completely, i have installed many internet security packages all had simple to follow instructions unlike “avast waste of space”,

when i needed to speak with a human i got your wonderful unhelpful confusing website, with no phone no:

I will make it my mission by using social networking and other forms of media to discreet your rubbish company,

Surprise me and be helpful by making it easy to get my money back,

b,

How about this…

 1. Download avast! Internet Security: http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/avast_internet_security_setup.exe
 2. Follow instructions: http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed avast! versions…!!)
 3. Reinstall avast! with the downloaded installer from point 1.
 4. Reboot.
Surprise me and be helpful by making it easy to get my money back,
what you do not know is that avast have the best support forum of any AV and it is right here.....and it is FREE

I would like to know what instructions exactly you mean.
It’s not even necessary to reinstall the program - when the license file is inserted (e.g. by doubleclicking on it), the Free version updates itself to AIS (if there’s an Internet connection, of course) - so all you have to do is doubleclick the license file, and restart the computer after the update is done (which you’ll be asked for).

As for the cashback, the best thing to do would be to contact the shop where you purchased it.
Or, you can contact sales@avast.com.

Beloved company you want to say… I mean, 180 happy million users.
Please, follow Igor advices and be sure you can get any help with avast! here in forum

+100% ;D

I don’t believe this user is coming back to get further help as he/she has been rip off :o

Otherwise you’re wasting replying ::slight_smile:

That’s the problem… He wasn’t ripped off but allowed his emotions to rule his actions instead of asking for help. :frowning:

+1
But he now has all the information he needs, let’s see.
