I downloaded a video installer…It downloaded trojan horses which avast removed…
But there is an icon flashing ‘CRITICAL Errors’ and clicking it takes to “virus busters.com”.
I have scanned my comp, tried regcleaners startup menu option, adaware personal full scan, sophos antiroot kit removal tool, but to no effect.
I cant remove it nor any software is detecting it.It starts before any software(even avast).
What should I do???
Please help…

Hi freaksterrao.

See if Rogure Remover will fix the problem. It can be downloaded here

Are you using Windows XP?
Can you schedule a boot-time scanning?
Start avast! > Right click the skin > Schedule a boot-time scanning.
Select for scanning archives.
Boot.

Good Morning Tech My Friend :o
Only 12 more(at this moment) toward the Big 20,000…you gonna hit that milestone today?
Sorry off the topic–but had to say hi and wish you continuous good health now and forever
++I’m trying to reach the 1,000 post mark and it seems like forever++

I have tried rogue remover to no avail…It affects the default browser…I had deleted it via folder unlocker and also cleaned my registry.
I had even restored my computer to a day before I downloaded the the player.

Guys the lastest update of adware personal removed it…THANKS!!!

I have to say I’m surprised AdAware removed it, just in case you could check out this infor.

Try this translated link from google, re virus busters.com.

It sounds exactly like the problem you are experiencing and it refers to the use of the smitfraud tool, whish I thought was what the RogueRemover was based on. This one has a combined removal tool with instructions,

As of this morning the helpers on the Lavasoft Forum are still referring people to SmitFraudFix, so this would be surprising.
