why avast doesn’t make a new feature that will alarm an orange message when a file you are trying to run is potentially dangerous if the file use a name which belongs to win32
system (alg.exe svchost.exe etc.), this won’t bring FP and will detect some viruses named after win32 file system even if they are missing from avast database.
i.e: %windir%\system32\svchost.exe won’t trigger avast!, but c:\goodsoftware\svchost.exe will
btw, something i’ve made:
avast should alarm if the file is infected.
Same name is not an infection signal (although it could be suspicious in some cases).
