Identify Date format of Expire day ( Avast Pro 6.0) (Avast Pro 4.8 Support)

Hello,

Anyone know how to identify the date format of Expire day of Avast Pro ?

YYYY/DD/MM or YYYY/MM/DD ?

Besides, could Avast still provide the Avast Pro 4.8 License key upon license renew ?

Thanks!

  1. Hmm… Not sure. Here the format is DD/MM/YYYY.
  2. Yes.

In Avast 6.0, the “Summary → Current Status → Expiration date” format depends on the date format in “Windows Control Panel”.

I don’t remember how it was in Avast 4.8.

Hi Asyn,

Thanks for your message !

I think the data format is depended on OS (Country Region)

I read YYYY/??/?? at my PC. (WinXP SP3)

Could any Avast member clarify it ?

You’re welcome…!
See ady4um’s reply - makes sense to me.

Yes,

However it shows 2011/11/10.

So, it is November 10 or October 11 ?

Thanks!

Oh, Thanks a lot.

I am over looking it :stuck_out_tongue:

NP tlee.

No need to worry too much about the expiry being October or November, etc. when you get within 14 days of expiry you should get a pop-up reminding you to renew the license.

Don’t renew immediately you get that pop-up as when you renew (purchase) your Pro license the license starts from the date of purchase and not the expiry date of your current license.
