One thing I liked about past virus programs I’ve used is the Virus Library I could use to find out about different viruses that would from time to time inhabit my computer.
I don’t see something similar with Avast Pro. Am I not finding something that is there?
After Avast blocks a virus:
I’d like to be able to:
Learn what virus (threat) it was.
Be able to learn about how the virus works.
Learn how to fix the damage the virus may have caused.
Also, I can’t seem to find a record of exactly what happened. If I can do that, I’d sure like to learn how.

Eh, time to properly setup your security.

If avast detects something, it will tell you and you can also see it in the log file(s).
Learn what virus (threat) it was.
As I said..

Ever hear about search engines? If so, use them to find out more.

Look at the messages avast shows you, look at the log files.
I always say:
If you want to use a application, read things on the website from the developers, read the FAQ, read the help that is included in the application.
I know it will take time, but there is often information to be found that really is helpful.
Compare it with a car.
If you want to drive it, it sure is nice to know where the switch is for the lights, the windshield wipers and such.
