idlecrawler

Hello I’m a long time user of Avast and it’s protected me well as long as I’ve had it but my system has some kind of malware on it that it can stop but it can’t seem to find. Could someone please help me with the issue? Avast is near constantly popping up telling me it’s blocked a malicious website but a scan comes up totally clean. Searching on the internet I think it’s something called idelcrawler but I’m not sure.

follow instructions here https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0
attach Malwarebytes and Farbar Recovery Scan Tool logs

most of the malware assistants are in bed now so it may be tomorrow before you see a reply

I’m still having issues getting rid of this virus. Is anyone around that can help?

Eh, 4(!) days ago you where asked to provide several log files.
So far you haven’t done it.
Did you even read what Pondus posted?

Oh man do I feel like a fool I guess I was tired when I read Pondus’ post and all I saw was that there were no Malware assistance available and to try again later. Here’s the logs, sorry I wasn’t trying to be rude.

Could you also attach the additions text please

Could you download a fresh copy of FRST and run the fix again please

Sorry for the insanely late reply. I finally did get the scan to work and everything seems fine but I shouldn’t assume everything is fixed.

If you could run a fresh FRST scan I will check it out… Any problems at the moment ?

Seems to running fine but and there have been no pop-ups or things of that nature.

Just two hangers on to kill and then clean up
