is it ok to use ie 7?the reason i ask is cause firefox 3 runs slower on my pc than ie 7.i got a 64 times dual core,2 gb of ram,theres no reason why firefox 3 is slow
Why? ??? IE7 is a browser like others of the kind. Sure, you can use it.
If you want to avoid them both (FF3 and IE7), I could advise you to install Opera.
Well there might be - are you by anychance running any antispyware programs that use immunisation, particularly immunisation of the hosts file. If so, try firefox after un-immunising (stay away from suspect sites while you do). If this makes a significant difference, at least you will know what has slowed it down, and you can then make a decision as to whether the reduction in performance is worth it for the added protection. It may be my imagination but I think immunisation has a greater slow down effect on Firefox than it does with IE 7.

I use IE7 for certain things and it is an improvemnt over any previous version of IE.
I will agree with George Yves in that if you are leery about using IE7, use the latest version of Opera 9.
