Hi malware fighters,
American ISPs use every angle to make money out of their consumers. Now a firm earns on you visiting phishing sites, your typo’s, and error pages, sending you to a specially crafted Yahoo search site full of ads that return money to the ISP when you visit these ad site. They present it as a way to “Deliver Safe, Smart, and Profitable Web Navigation”. See: http://www.simplicita.com/Simplicita_delivers_smart_safe.html
If this is the new trend we will never get rid of the bad guys, because it is not in the ISP’s interest that they vanish.“Various providers, we are not allowed to identify them by name, are testing Simplicita’s solution and like to roll it out as soon as testing is done” as it is mentioned. The NXD software, that is free, can be adjusted to each user’s personal needs. Customers can also disable it and install pages of their own. It is made clear on the Yahoo search page shown that it is about advertorials. Is this what we all want, an ever further reaching litany of unwanted adverts?
