Iframe warning when downloading email

How can I stop some iframe warning that pops up 10 times every time I check email? I just want to completely disable that feature. I’d rather risk getting a virus on my computer than have to click on that warning 10 times each time I check email.

Left click the ‘a’ blue icon. Click ‘Details’ button (if needed).
Go to Internet Mail provider at left and click Customize.
On Heuristic tab of settings click Customize.
Remove the iFrame options.
You’ll be decreasing your protection. Better adding the particular iFrame url in the permitted urls list.

Welcome to the most configurable antivirus round

Thank you Tech. I just removed the two iframe options.

I would just add the url if it was the same one each time, but it is always a different china tld url. I’ve been getting several a day for at least the last month or so. I don’t know anyone in china, so I just set up a rule to delete any .cn emails, but avast still kept giving me the warning even though they were being deleted.

You can set Silent Mode for infected emails:

Click on Internet Mail and then on Customize.
Go to Advanced tab and select Silent Mode and the default answer No. This will send the file (email) to Chest.
But take a look here: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=28088.msg229736#msg229736

Do the same for the and Outlook/Exchange plugin.

The answer Yes in Silent Mode keeps the virus in the file or into the message (attach) and continue the scanning. You can’t configure ‘delete the infected file’ in the Home version.

Great, that’s even better. I just put the iframe option back on, and switched to silent mode. Thanks a lot Tech!

I love Avast - you guys are doing a great job.
