I'm a newbie. How do I schedule scan at 3:00 am while I am asleep?

I have tried to understand what I am seeing but I do not understand how to schedule a scan when I want. A system scan seems to take 2 hours. I want this to happen while I am sleeping, not every time the machine boots.

I feel like I am missing something but I can not seem to find it.

You need avast! Professional edition in order to schedule scans! Try searching on the forums as there are plenty of topics on this.
